In August 2021, we opened the doors to Chef's Kitchen here in Cocoa, Florida, and our story is one of inspiration, dedication, and a whole lot of heart. Our journey began with a shared vision to provide our community with high-quality food that doesn't break the bank, all in honor of our beloved grandmother, Lilly Bell.
You see, Chef's Kitchen is more than just a restaurant; it's a fusion of cuisines that brings diverse flavors to your plate. One day, you can indulge in the succulent taste of blackened salmon with asparagus and creamy mashed potatoes, and the very next day, experience the comforting embrace of oxtails and collard greens.
As a family-owned business, we've always dreamed of achieving greater things in the restaurant industry, and our journey has been marked by notable milestones. We were thrilled to secure the Cocoa startup grant of $10,000, which gave us the boost we needed. We also completed the enriching business coaching program, Ignite 360, which helped us refine our culinary craft.
But that's not all. We proudly clinched second place in the weVenture Impact grant competition, securing an additional $10,000 to fuel our culinary ambitions. Our story even caught the attention of Channel 13 Spectrum News, and we had the honor of being featured in the inspiring WeVenture video.
